The Richest Gift In Creation

Ephesians 1:7 In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace,

What are you believing as true of you today? Do you believe you are worthless? Do you believe you are unloved? Do you believe you are guilty and stained with sin? Do you believe you are unloved and unwanted? Do you believe you have no value? Are you hopeless, helpless or directionless?

The Word of God comes along side our thinking and states that if we are IN Christ, we hold the richest gift in creation. The gift comes to us by grace through faith. We could not earn it and are far from deserving it. The gift was given over 2000 years ago on a hill in a far away country. The gift was God’s son Jesus nailed upon a cross. Through his shed blood comes redemption, the forgiveness of our sins. The Son of God died as an offering, a sacrifice suitable for our guilt and our shame. His blood was the payment.

At the cross, God teaches us that we are not worthless or unloved; for he sentenced his only Son to die on your behalf. At the cross, God teaches us that we are no longer guilty or stained with sin; for he declares us holy and righteous before him now in love. At the cross, God teaches us that he truly loves and wants us; he shows us our value, gives us hope, promises us help, and sets us on a new mission. Go into all the world this day and make disciples of every nation. For IN Christ today, you are forgiven and declared free from all condemnation. For if God is for you, who in the world could possibly be against you?
