I made a video of our story of Mercy. You can watch it either HERE, or you can follow this link …

I desire for you to know that we feel incredibly loved on. So many people have been praying. So many have sent emails. So many have made sweet comments on the blog. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

  1. I was so glad to wake up this morning and see that you had made the video already! I started watching it while still in bed, but then decided that the rest of my family would like to see it right away, too. It was very touching to see all my kids move in close to see it on the laptop and watch in complete silence and some tears (most of them mine and Adelyn’s).

It was so beautiful! It gave (my) Scott the opportunity to talk a little bit about God’s sovereignty and human suffering, and the kids starting asking about grieving. We prayed for you again, too.

I got to wondering, What are the chances that NONE of my own kids will lose a baby? Pretty small. And your video and blog will so wonderfully point them (and me) to the true source of hope–and be a testimony to God’s grace!

Thank you for sharing your painful journey.

  2. Beautiful and powerful video! Thank you for sharing this painful and intimate time in your family’s life. There are many reasons for trials in our life. Your willingness to share this will be a tool to minister to others that will or have had similar pain. Truly you are trophies of God’s grace, to endure the loss of not only one child, but two.
Job 23:10 He knoweth the way that I take, when He has tested me, I shall come forth as gold.

  3. We are so sorry for your loss. Mercy Ann will be missed! Thank you for sharing your journey and letting your light shine for Him. I pray many will see this… fear Him and will put their trust in The Lord!
    Love to you

  4. The tears are flowing…..our hearts are aching because of your loss, but we are confident in this one thing, that you will be reunited with your sweet “Mercy” someday and possibly soon. Your strength and courage is astonishing and we know it only comes from the Lord! Be blessed my dear friends and know that we are and will continue to lift you and your family up in prayers in the day’s ahead! Love and hugs!! Christine (Hindt) and family

  5. I have just watched your beautiful video. My heart aches for all of you, but is also warmed by the love you share with each other and our Lord. May he be with you in your time of need.
