Abounding In Hope

Romans 15:13 "May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope."

Last night while we were driving home from Church, Sammy mentioned something from the back seat that might hurt (I can't remember what it was at the moment). I said, "yah, that would hurt like the dickens." Sammy then says, "yah, chickens do hurt when they peck you, ouch!" Ali and I burst out laughing — it was very funny.

Please pray for our appointment with the mid-wife. I am unable to make it with Karie today, so please pray that she may be "filled with all joy and peace in believing," and that the "power of the Holy Spirit may abound in her in hope." It is the Holy Spirit that enables any of us to have a foundational hope. And He is able to make our hope exceedingly excessive [abound].
