FALLING SHORT OF GOD’S GLORY #devotions

Romans 3:23-24 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus,

The ground is level at the foot of the cross. There are not places of honor and places of dishonor in the bleachers. There is only the righteous one hanging on the cross, and the unrighteous sitting near the base. There is Jesus who is righteous, and everyone else who is unrighteous. Jesus is the glory of God. We fall short of that glory.

The redemption that we need for our moral crimes is a free gift. It was purchased by Jesus, (the Righteous One) at Calvary.
