By Revelation 1:8
“ I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty”.
In this one verse, we have three evidences of the deity of Jesus Christ. He is omniscient, omnipresent, and omnipotent.
Jesus is the alpha and the omega. This means that he is the first, the last, and every other letter contained in the alphabet. Being the alpha and the omega indicates that Jesus knows everything. He holds in his mind every idea, every object and every possibility known to man. Jesus is omniscient.
Jesus is, was, and is to come. This means that he is everywhere now. He is everywhere in the past. And he will be everywhere in the future. There is no place, was no place, nor will be no place where Jesus is not. Jesus is omnipresent.
Jesus is the Almighty. This means that He has all might and all power. There is no power nor might apart from him. From the force of tornados, to the force of man, to the force of the atom; all power comes from Jesus. Jesus is omnipotent.
Jesus is all you or I could need, have needed, or will need tomorrow.
