Galatians 5:22-23 “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.”
It is interesting to note that the text calls all of these qualities fruit singular, and not fruits plural. It is almost as if they can not be separated one from another; if you have one, you have all; and if you don’t have all, you don’t have the Spirit.
This should cause us to pray and ask the Lord to produce in our lives the whole assortment of fruit that grows on the tree of the Spirit.

I am reformed in my doctrine and confessional; as we hold to the 1689 London Baptist Confession. I am convinced by Scripture that I am to lead my family to the throne of grace through daily devotions and prayer. These posts are currently the devotions that we do each night. If you decide to participate in doing these devotions with your family; know that we are doing them right along side you. May the Lord add his blessing to his Word and your desire to serve him through day by day devotions.
