An Eternal Weight Of Glory

2 Corinthians 4:17

For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison,

What an abundant salvation we will receive as redeemed saints. We are told that there is nothing known to humanity which can compare to the glory that awaits us. It is beyond comparison.

Have you ever been amazed by a sunset? Have you ever said in your heart, “glorious” as you have seen the sun peek through the distant horizon? This does not compare at all with the glory that awaits those who are resting the entirety of their hope upon Christ.

Does this truth help when we experience affliction? It is intended to do just that.
